These are all scenarios during which I want I’d had somebody to mentor me as a Black female educator. I necessary and deserved somebody I could link with professionally and personally. I normally take into consideration how various my knowledge might have been if I had been matched with a mentor before in my academic journey – somebody that could relate and connect with me as a Black instruction expert.
