On-line journalists, digital news organizations and college students worldwide can use for an award.

The On line Information Affiliation (ONA) is accepting entries for the 2022 Online Journalism Awards recognizing excellence in digital reporting.

Award classes include details journalism, visual digital storytelling, investigative journalism, public services, common excellence and far more. This year’s competition features a few new types: 3M Reality in Science Award Excellence in Social Media Engagement and Olympics and Paralympics Protection .

The contest offers 6 awards totaling US$57,000, courtesy of the SmartNews, The College of Florida Faculty of Journalism and Communications, 3M, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the University of Oregon Faculty of Journalism and Communication’s Agora Journalism Centre, and McKinsey Publishing.

Entries should have released between June 1, 2021 and May well 31, 2022. Although English translations are strongly recommended, works may be submitted in any language.

The entry payment is US$125 for ONA members, US$200 for non-customers, US$15 for university student customers, US$30 for university student non-members, and US$50 for ONA users and non-members doing the job in micro-dimension newsrooms.

The deadline is June 9.
