Scituate High School graduates celebrate community

SCITUATE – In a sea of royal-blue robes and golden tassels, the 257 graduates of Scituate Higher School’s Class of 2022 stood collectively on the football industry for a final time Friday evening, June 3.

Ahead of they went their separate approaches, class President Celia Rees reminded her friends of the reminiscences they shared.

“As our childhoods expire, these recollections that we’ve manufactured start out to settle at the core of who we are,” Rees explained. “I hope you keep in mind every single other and how the semiconscious impact we had on just one one more is what connects us.”

Principal Lisa Maguire observed that the senior course was able to arrive alongside one another to encounter classic occasions – which include promenade and senior week – just after cancellations in earlier many years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Salutatorian Jason Adams and valedictorian Clara Sullivan shipped speeches among performances by the seniors of the find choir and the Scituate High symphonic band and choirs. Jason Adams traced the students’ a long time alongside one another, recounting games throughout elementary school recesses and new mastering options in center university.
