An associate professor in the University of Wyoming Faculty of Education’s College of Counseling, Management, Advocacy and Design will establish assets for the state’s university counselors immediately after getting named the college’s Patricia McClurg Instruction School Fellow for 2021-23.

Lindsey Nichols acquired the award named in honor of McClurg, a former school member and dean of the higher education. The fellowship fund was established to award associate professors as they keep on their growth and excellence in analysis.

Nichols is performing with UW Libraries and other partners to generate an on-line school counseling finding out lab where by faculty counseling and mental health methods, plans and exploration will be showcased.

Nichols retains a Ph.D. in counselor education and learning and supervision from Pennsylvania Point out University a master’s degree in faculty counseling from the College of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a master’s diploma in heritage and social sciences education and learning and a bachelor’s diploma in record, equally from the College of Connecticut. She joined UW’s college in 2019 right after 7 yrs at the College of Montana.
