Representatives from the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry Charitable Trust met with St Peter Port constables and Blanchelande teachers to discuss a student exchange scheme with Masenieres. St Peter Port and Masnieres twinned in 2019, and are hoping to take the next step by involving youthful individuals from both equally locations.

‘2017 marked the 100th anniversary of a important battle in Masnieres, wherever the Royal Guernsey Mild Infantry held the line for the Allies and shed 40% of its gentlemen,’ explained Chris Oliver, chairman of the RGLI Rely on.
